Initial Oral Examination
The three primary goals of the initial exam are proper diagnosing, patient education and options to treatment. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, oral cancer exam, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. You will receive a full series of digital xrays to aid in the proper diagnosis. Some patients may require study models of their teeth to study any bite problems. All initial exams include intra oral photography for patient education. A consultation may be done at that visit if recommendations for treatment are minor but more extensive plans may require a second visit. All consultation visits are included in the initial exam fee.
